The biggest lie is what challenges what God says is holy. God has given us everything freely, but has also commanded that a part of what he has given be kept aside for him. Anything God commands us to keep for him is synonymous to what is termed as holy. Holiness here means separated or sanctified. God will always give us things but he will definitely make a demand of what he has given us.
Don't think because God entrusted something to you then it all yours. Don't tell yourself or anything body that lie.
A typical example is the lie the devil told Adam and Eve. God had commanded they could eat from any tree in the garden. Can you imagine how many trees that could have been? but he told them to keep away from a particular tree, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The devil subtly asked Eve if God really said they must not eat from any tree in the garden. He told her they wouldn't die as against what God had said " the day you eat from the tree you would die". Adam and Eve fell for that lie and they lost everything.
This also could apply in our lives. God has given us things doesn't mean it all belongs to us. He has given us money, time, and resources for our use but he will definitely demand a part of it and he trust us to give it to him when he demands.
Don't tell yourself the lie, that you can't give away a part of what he has given you.He could demand 1hour of your time to spend with him out of the 24hours he has given you, but you tell him you are too busy. The truth is if you are too busy for God, you are too busy.
