When we set goals and meet them, it gives us a joy of fulfillment.
Today's Focus is on Spiritual Goals.
It is important to start with this because the spiritual is the foundation for the physical goals.
Once the spiritual is in place, all your other goals are achievable.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Every Christian has a path. When you walk in it, you will find all that you need in life.
This year your goals will come to pass. In Jesus Name
Your spiritual goals cover these:
1. To know God better: Every year, we should seek to know God better because we don't graduate in the thing of the spirit. You must know God for yourself.
2. Living better :
Living a Christ-like life.
You should strive to live a life that reflects Christ. Start shedding off lifestyles that don't glorify God.
3. Serving better: You must aim to get to the stage where your lifestyle points people around you to Jesus Christ.
your finance, your time, intelligence, etc.
How do you measure your spiritual growth?
He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.
You measure your growth bases on how much spiritual things matter to you.
Spiritual things must be more important to you than anything else.
Do you constantly want to know God the more?
Do you have a heart to please God?
Do you want to please God?
How do you build your spiritual capacity :
1. Prayers: Build a consistent prayer life.
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit,
2. Studying The Word:
Have a consistent Stuy plan. A lack of appetite for the word of God is a sign of spiritual illness.
1 Peter 2:2
Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
As you hear The Word, apply it to your life.
3. Fellowship with other Christians:
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
You get a wealth of experience, advice, and encouragement as you fellowship with your brethren. You grow by receiving and giving to other Christians.
You grow by accountability.
