Text: Isaiah 30:21

There is a way to position yourself when the word of prophecy comes.

Joshua 21:45. 

Jeremiah 8:20. Romans 13:11. God wants us to be discerning of the times and seasons. Ecclesiastes 8:5.

4 Things to Pay Attention to If Prophesies Are To Be Fulfilled:

1. You have to receive your word and then mix it with faith. 2 Chronicles 20:20, Psalm 105:17.

You must believe that God meant it when he sent it. Genesis 15:6

Let God be true and let every man be a liar. You have to believe, irrespective of what you see or hear. 1 Cor. 14:10

Choose whose report you will believe. Until faith comes, don’t stop hearing because faith comes by hearing the word of God over and over again.

There are those who believe in God but despise His prophets, but God will speak and work through men. 

Isaiah 44:26, Jeremiah 15:16, Psalm 106:12 - We must believe God’s word spoken through His servants.

To grow your faith, there are certain people you need to shut the door on. 

The process of believing begins with spending time in the word of God. 

There are situations where what you need is counsel, not prayer.

Dare to believe. Mix faith with the word.

2. Engage in prayer: If you want to see the word work you must pray. You must rebel against how things have been in prayer. Matthew 7:7-8, James 4:2

It is through prayer that you can reverse negative situations. You can break yokes in the place of prayer - Genesis 27:40

If you want seasons to change fast, get on your knees. You have to ask, even if it is the time. No season can change in itself. Daniel 9:2, Jeremiah 25:11. Daniel 9:3. It is in the place of travail that you begin to call the things that be not as though they were.

Luke 3:21 - Your prayers cause heaven to open over you. 

If the heavens are not opened over you, it means your place of prayer is cold. 

3. Pay attention to your lifestyle: You can’t continue to do what you’ve always done. Joshua 3:5

To experience new wine, you must become a new wineskin. 

Isaiah 14:24,27 There’s always a what to do for our water to become wine. Isaiah 1:19

Job 22:21 - If you want good from God, you must be at peace with God. Revelation 4:1 - God is calling us to come up, in our commitment, in our giving, etc. Psalm 1:1, Proverbs 12:26 - We must choose our friends carefully. 

Some people have to leave for us to be relieved.

We need to do a friendship audit and make room for better friends. 

Not everyone who featured in your past deserves a role in your future. 

You know you are growing by the things that you are outgrowing. 

4. If you must experience God's fulfillment, you must take steps. John 10:9

Nobody can read the book you intend to write or patronize the business you intend to start. 

This year you must take steps. Faith without corresponding works is dead.

Even if you must do it afraid - do it!

If anything, let your fear lead you to prayer.

2 Chronicles 20:12. When you don’t know what to do, let your eyes be stayed on God. 

The Grace of God is not a replacement for the effort of man.
